English Grammar Short Notes for Talathi Exam

1. Parts of Speech

Definition: Parts of Speech are the eight categories of words based on their function in a sentence.

2. Tenses

Definition: Tense shows the time of an action.

Three Main Tenses

Each has 4 forms:

Simple
Continuous
Perfect
Perfect Continuous

6. Narration (Direct & Indirect Speech)

Direct Speech
