Maharashtra Forest Guard Recruitment 2023

The Maharashtra Forest Department released a recruitment notice for the positions of Lekhpal/Accountant (Group C), Surveyor, Senior Statistical Assistant (Group C), Junior Statistical Assistant (Group C), Lower Grade Stenographer (Group B), Junior Engineer Civil (Gr. B), and Higher Grade Stenographer (Group B).

Applications are being accepted online. On June 10, 2023, the online registration period will open. To apply, interested parties must do so online by June 30, 2023. Candidates with a 10th or 12th grade education, graduates, and postgraduates are all eligible.

Qualifications for the Maharashtra Forest Guard in 2023

Educational Qualification

  • Lekhpal / Accountant (Group C): Graduation from an accredited university and proficiency in Marathi. Forest Guard – 10th or 12th passed.
  • Surveyor: Successful completion of the 12th grade, a certificate from a reputable institution granting survey instruction, and proficiency in Marathi.
  • Higher Grade Stenographer (Group B): Passed Secondary School Certificate Exam, Shorthand Speed of at Least 120 Words Per Minute, Marathi Language Proficiency.
  • Lower Grade Stenographer (Group B): Passed Secondary School Certificate Exam, Shorthand Speed of at Least 100 Words Per Word, Marathi Language Proficiency.
  • Junior Civil Engineer (Gr. B): Civil Engineering diploma and Marathi language proficiency.
  • Post-graduate degree in mathematics, economics, commerce, agriculture, or statistics and understanding are requirements for Senior Statistical Assistant (Group C).
